Group plan
All members of the board are leaders who provide time to help the community through the solid principles of the co-op philosophy. Conscious of the need to carry out a protection policy for protection for the cooperative leaders, COSVI designed a life collective for the director's insurance.
This protection is an added form of encouragement to all others who are willing to take the time to support the system.
Benefits
- Accidental death, dismemberment, and loss of vision are up to two times the amount of life insurance.
- Provides a benefit for the Use of a Seat Belt if the insured dies in a car accident, for Education for the insured's children, and Repatriation of the remains of the insured.
- Optional compensation for directors and committee members disabled as a result of a business accident.
- For directors, committee members, official management, benefits in accidental deaths, and dismemberment pay three times the amount of life insurance.

Available endorsements
- Accelerated payment for early death- Provides for the advancement of 50% of the life benefit in the event of a terminal illness whose life expectancy is 12 months or less.

How can I establish my claim?
To submit a claim you must complete the Claim Application and accompany it with the necessary documents according to the insurance policy you have purchased. For more information you can access the Claims section. For your convenience, you can advance these documents by e-mail service.reclamaciones@cosvi.com, via fax to 787-200-2574 or deliver them to any of our offices. An important fact for SINOT cases is that SINOT claim applications require original documents.
What are the methods of payment are available in COSVI?
• Payment methods are: • Direct debit to your checking or saving accounts, VISA, MasterCard, or Discover. • Telepay for Banco Popular de Puerto Rico clients. • By telephone through our system of Call Center Pay use their checking or savings accounts, or credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, or Discover) getting in touch with one of our specialists at the Customer Service Center at 787-751-2828.
