- First occurrence benefit in diagnosis of internal cancer, cancer diagnosis, and initial workup of malignant diseases, hospitals, intensive care units, medicines, and drugs.
- In addition, extended coverage, surgery, breast prostheses, personal physicians, nurses, anesthesia, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy, blood and plasma, ambulance, transportation, and funeral expenses.

Contract dispositions
- A person in the group who has been diagnosed with cancer or a deleterious disease is not eligible.

Does the cancer and pernicious illnesses cover ambulatory medical visits to doctor?
No, it only covers medical visits in hospitals that are not surgeons or oncologists.
What should I do if I want to reinstate my life policy?
You just have to fill out the Reinstatement Application and send it in original format, with the payment of all premiums owed by regular mail to: Puerto Rico Life Insurance Cooperative, COSVI Attention Issuance Department PO Box 363428 San Juan, P.R. 00936-3428. You can also deliver it to any of our offices or through your Authorized Insurance Representative.
What is an insurance policy?

Does a jointly coverage exists under the Funeral coverage?
Yes, it exists the jointly coverage (contract that cover more than one life).
How can I establish my claim?
To submit a claim you must complete the Claim Application and accompany it with the necessary documents according to the insurance policy you have purchased. For more information you can access the Claims section. For your convenience, you can advance these documents by e-mail service.reclamaciones@cosvi.com, via fax to 787-200-2574 or deliver them to any of our offices. An important fact for SINOT cases is that SINOT claim applications require original documents.
What alternatives do I have to obtain a life insurance in COSVI without a need to go through a medical exam?
